Shona draws on more than 20 years experience in the hotel industry.  As a senior revenue management specialist she has worked with a number of premium brands including Intercontinental Hotels Group, Hilton International, Travelodge, Queens Moat House and Forte.

Shona has significant experience in an operational, corporate and consultancy capacity and has repeatedly delivered tangible top line results through the application of all aspects of revenue management.  She has developed and led high performing teams and her experience also includes speech self-service, distribution, database and outsource management.  This breadth of knowledge makes her well placed to work with senior management teams to help them recognise and solve key business challenges. She is an experienced project manager and trainer.

Shona is a PRINCE2™ registered practitioner, a graduate of Cornell University's Centre for Professional Development and holds a BA in Hotel and Catering Management.

 

Paula Newman - Training and Development

Paula Jane Newman is a hospitality training and development coach who specialises in translating brand and concept ethos into a practical operational process. She offers an innovative, creative and flexible service designed to meet the needs of your business.

With a global background encompassing Regent Inns, Fuller Smith and Turner, Hilton, Thistle, Guoman and Jamies Italian, Paula has an innate understanding of the link between the customers and the team. Her experience as both a team member and general manager ensures that she takes a holistic approach to all challenges. Jane Pendlebury - IT and Technology

Jane is a successful and well known personality within the worldwide hospitality arena. During the past 20 years she has been working in senior management and sales roles, immediately prior to setting up as an independent, she was Vice President and General Manager of a NASDAQ listed American software house - providing solutions for hotels, resorts, cruise ships, arenas and stadiums. Her skills and experience include management in all aspects of a company including financial, sales, marketing, sponsorship and partnerships, customer care and people management.

Jane started her career in hotels with DeVere, followed by a management role in an independently owned country house hotel. However, technology took her interest and she focussed her efforts on supplying software solutions ranging from the commonly used Property Management Systems, Golf and Spa solutions, Accounting (including General Ledger), Sales and Catering, to newer technology such as Revenue Management and High Speed Internet Access Solutions for hotels.

Her experience is with both smaller start-up organisations and larger global companies with different expertise developed and adapted to suit each environment.  Jane is an effective and confident presenter to senior executives, with a proven track record on making significant impact on revenue growth and profitability.

 

Maddie Page-Dove - Sales and Business Development

Maddie has over 20 years experience in Hotel Sales and Business Development projects, ranging from privately owned establishments to National and International Groups.  She is a passionate and focused individual with a creative approach to sales issues.  Maddie has worked with flexis to compliment existing hotel sales teams as well as provide interim and project based sales support.

Maddie has the proven ability to take on projects and achieve the desired results by cultivating relationships with existing clients to ensure maximum percentage of business is won, as well as seeking out new business opportunities.  Maddie can become a hotel's ambassador, representing clients at networking events and exhibitions.
